April 4-9, 2012: Spend time visiting Jesuit parishes and schools in Chicago and learn more about their ministries Holy Thursday to Easter Sunday. Stay at St Procopius Parish in the Pilsen neighborhood of Chicago, which is mostly Latino and Spanish-speaking, live at the parish rectory, work at various service projects during the weekend, and attend the sacred Triduum services with the faith community there and at Loyola University. The pilgrims will be able to walk the Via Crucis, or Living Way of the Cross, through the neighborhood on Good Friday with others from around the area, tour the historical Jesuit Churches and schools in Chicago and visit the Cristo Rey schools for students in struggling urban areas.
